Hi, it's Kevin.
I'm a UX designer based in New York City with a love for visual design, technology, and cats.
Before design, I have been a teacher, violist, actor, coxswain, soldier, and project manager. The unifying lesson I draw from my life experiences is the importance of being present and leaning into working with what you got, even if it isn't a lot.
Amor Fati
I have worked hard to shift my paradigm from a victim's mentality to a vocation of empowering others to live happier and healthier lives. "Amor fati", or "Love of one's fate," is a Stoic mindset that I have internalized after enduring numerous hardships in life.
I value honesty, positivity, and emotional maturity both in my personal relationships and in the teams I work with. The team that pivots and adapts to constraints and challenges comes out the other side with a lot more than just a completed handoff.
